Hinterland by artist Stephanie Laine is an abstract landscape painting which aims to convey a sense of energy through the use of brushwork, contrast, colour and tone.

‘Hinterland is something a little different for me. I felt drawn to explore a more representational piece and thoroughly enjoy the process and outcome. I hope you feel it captures the raw and vibrant energy of nature as I’d intended. I was tempted to keep this one but I’m all out of wall space at my place, so I hope it finds a special home.’

Hinterland is a combination of grey blues and greens with a touch of brown and black oil pastel line work. This painting is available as a flat canvas (unstretched) and can be sent in a roll to a local framer of your choice or we have framers available in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast. The image of Hinterland extends 4cm past the finished size so once stretched, the painting will be visible on the sides also (as per the image).
