Hippie Birdie – This painting is a playful experiment with silhouettes and overlaid pattern. An initial base layer was built up with acrylic paint and a catalyst wedge followed by spray painted stencil work. POSCA pens were then used to create more refined patterns in contrasting colours over the top. Finally, areas were blocked out in white revealing three vibrant patterned birds. This playful artwork would make a wonderful feature in any home.
