Outside of art, I have invested myself in a few hobbies… none so enjoyable as making my own ice cream. I have my own churner and have conducted a TONNE of research into recipes and combinations to make be able to produce an ice cream that my family and I would much prefer over store-bought. Naturally, I photograph my new flavours as I create them, so naturally I would want to combine my two loves in a still life painting of my own ice cream. Here, I added in the strawberry syrup bottle that my kids always go for as an addition to represent something that is a treat for all of us after dinner each night. Can’t beat a classic vanilla and strawberry (with real strawberries) combination.
