Inspired by the Australian terrain and my inner responses to nature, this abstract landscape speaks to the quiet resilience that lives beneath our chaos, and the moments of unexpected joy that surface like wildflowers in dry soil.

The vivid palette mirrors a world both real and imagined — where soft greens hint at renewal, radiant oranges warm the earth, and sky blues offer breath and release. Layered with acrylic, grounded with charcoal, and softened with oil sticks, this piece was built over time — just as hope often is.

I painted this during a time when I needed a reminder that even through messiness and uncertainty, there’s beauty waiting to be found. This work is a celebration of those small, precious glimmers — of happiness not as a destination, but a presence we can return to.
