I’ll meet You at Rainbows End by Rebecca Warr

This extra large scale canvas represents my interest in shape, pattern and the use of vibrant hues in the production of artwork. The base layer has been built up with the use of a catalyst wedge followed by more deliberate brush work to define the mountain like shapes. Opaque layers of paint have been applied over some of the shapes to increase interest and draw the viewers eye. Finally, stencilling has been added, further enhancing aesthetic appeal in the work. I have titled this artwork ‘I’ll Meet You at Rainbows End’ because it represents to me a vision of a mountainous scene at the end of a rainbow.
