Imponente Dos is a new painting from Stephanie’s Bailar series. ‘In addition to my Concerto series, which conveys the parallels between music and visual arts, it’s my intention in the Bailar series to express the energy and movement of dance through brushwork. For me, the intertwining layers of composition and colour create a unique contrast in intensity and subtlety that expresses movement and depth. Just as in dance there is a story unfolding within the layers’
In this series acrylic and oil pastel are combined with a printed image of Stephanie’s original artworks. Each painting in this series is original. There is only 1 of each.
Imponente Dos is a combination of greens, blues, mustard and olive.
All paintings are finished in 2 coats of satin lacquer for protection and longevity.
