In Spring – An original oil painting by Margaret Connell. Bright spring image of fair woman in Spring Hill scape. The inspiration for this painting occurred in spring and was a desire to create something of that season and to use contrasting colours with the brightness of spring . This painting is on an Artist birch panel dwhich is mounted on a sturdy wooden frame . Gesso was applied several times. Art Spectrum oil paint was used and it was sealed with Langridge Matte Varnish. D hooks have been applied and it is ready to hang but it does it have an external frame.
