Intertwined II by Kathy Best – The main features of this artwork started off with me drawing chair shapes. They grew in to tube shapes after visiting the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at NGV. When I walked into one of the rooms I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this in progress painting. I thought about calling the artwork a stack of chairs but went with Intertwined.

Signed by the artist on the back, with painting continued on sides.
