Additional Information

Intertwined Land and Sea Diptych by Claire Skeet –  is an original work created over two identical canvas’s each 52 x 52 cm  best hug over a 115cm space as pictured.

Created using a combination of mark making techniques. I mostly use palette knives and large brushes. Lots of  scraping and scratching also create texture and movement.  Created using extra thickened acrylic paint & on canvas colour blending creates a really unique and interesting piece.

For this entire series of works, I have been painting on a metallic gold underpainting allowing the scratches and scrapes to have a beautiful luminosity.

Yallingup and the whole of WA’s South West continue to call me, I find never ending inspiration from the rugged coast line and the extremes in the weather. I love the windswept trees along this coast and you will find they feature heavily in my current works.

Framed in Stunning Medium Oak Coloured floating frame these 2  piecer are  ready to hang in their forever home.

Painted and varnished with the best possible quality products for longevity.
