Into The Forest I Go by Annica Malmkvist – “And into the forest I go, to lose my mind and find my soul” is a quote I love by John Muir. These words popped into my head when I was coming up with a title for this painting. I found it suitable, as this is the same state I search to find when I get in the zone of painting. This piece had many shapes and forms before it took me on a journey to this destination. Trees, creeks plants together in a lovely scenery to escape into.

“Into The Forest I Go” is painted on deep edge canvas and with my “signature” white painted 10mm edge on the front of the canvas which wraps around the sides. This leaves a crisp feeling that frames the image itself.
