Additional Information

It’s Not Easy Being Green by Rosemary Legat – A exercise in creating an abstract painting in layers, using acrylic paint in hues of green as my main colour choice and medium.  Along with ink pens and the use of torn brown paper collage pieces applied for texture, over a moody dark base layer.

Sgraffito and markings applied to the layers adds depth and interest, visually stimulating the eye.

I have wrapped some of the markings around the edges of the stretched canvas.

As always, please check artwork dimensions as gallery in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
