I’ve got a lot going on right now by Rebecca Warr

This is a bright Pop Art style portrait with the addition of lace and other pattern work. The real texture of the lace creates contrast and interest in the work, drawing the viewer’s eye to the detail. The portrait is intended to appear abstract in style. While producing this work, I continued to add more pattern and blocks of colour in an effort to achieve balance. Like some of my other paintings, this one is quite busy, hence the title ‘I’ve got a lot going on right now’.
