Jacaranda Haze by Anne Strambi – This oil painting features the beautiful purply-blue of the jacaranda trees in a park, reminding me of my childhood in Grafton, NSW, where they bloom in abundance every October. I was inspired to paint them after attending a workshop with talented artist David Hinchliffe, and learning a new method of painting the negative shapes of a subject. I love the light shining through the trees and the dappled shade underneath.

The painting is ready to hand with a cord on the back but would also look good in a custom frame.
