Joie de Vivre, ‘ The Joy of Living” refers to the exultation of the spirit. It  is part of a series exploring texture, pastels and floral composition. It forms part of an exhibition series ‘La Belle Epoque’ that reflects the  Golden Age of French culture and art around the early 1900’s. It was a time when the arts ideas flourished and a time of optimism and peace. This artwork reflects that spirit and mood. It currently forms a central part of a textile exhibition that has been showing in Newcastle and Port Stephens. The flowers are fabric and have been composited from the works in the exhibition. It is printed large scale at 100cm square.

This print is on archival canvas and is part of a limited edition of 50. Box Framed in Tasmanian Oak. Personally signed and editioned on the reverse.
