In this painting Emma has captured the abundant and playful nature of flowers in a yellow and pink hue setting.  Emma’s work captures the power of color and its ability to bring emotion and joy to a space.  Emma uses strong, bold brushstrokes and contrasting colors of dark blue, crimson red and muted yellows to create a highly original Still Life.

This painting is part of a Still Life series of four artworks titled Joyful ‘Still Life Using Color’.  Overall the painting invites the onlooker to look at color and strong shapes in a different way with the use of contrast and textured highlights.

The painting is 47cm Height with 32cm Width with a 5cm which border.  The painting is acrylic on white 150gm paper.
