‘Juhl is from my Mid -Century series conveying the timeless quality of simplicity in form and colour to calm the mind and senses. Reminiscent of the screen printing textures of yesteryear, Juhl captures the essence of spontaneity and minimalism.
This painting is named in honour of Danish architect and interior designer Finn Juhl. He is quoted as saying ‘One cannot create happiness with beautiful objects, but one can spoil quite a lot of happiness with bad ones’.
