‘April’ is a richly atmospheric painting conjuring the last Autumn wattle as the season shifts from Autumn into winter. The entire substrate is primed archival Dibond. The palette comprises delicate neutrals and pinky greys. The white painted border is an integrated part of the image, creating a framed effect and as such the painting does not need additional framing (although you a free to do so). The purpose of the border is to create a window of aesthetic contemplation and a particular experience of perception.
