This artwork was produced with an acrylic pour technique. The fluid effect that has been created is aesthetically appealing in its colour scheme and subtle sense of contrast. I have titled this piece ‘Go with the flow’ because the sense of flowing movement and appearance of a variety of cells makes me feel calm and relaxed. More structured detail and organic shape overlayed on the pour creates direction allowing the viewer to let their eyes wander diagonally across the canvas. When I view this work I feel as though I am observing a coloured wave in the ocean or the inside of a crystal. This artwork would lift any room as a feature piece and is sure to invite the attention of the viewer with its calming aesthetic.
