A textured landscape of the beautiful Karijini National Park located in north Western Australia. I was inspired by the foreground trees which receded and merged into the distant blue. Spontaneously painted in a semi abstract style using a palette knife with emphasis on pattern, rhythm and texture. Karijini Trees is one of a series in this technique.

Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
