Karri Trees are native to the south west of Western Australia. They grow in the forests, along the roadsides and throughout the countryside. I was inspired by the different colors among the foliage which receded and merged into the distant blue. A textured landscape spontaneously painted using a palette knife.

Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
