Killer on the Road – surreal retro pulp magazine cover art painting by Jane Ianniello 91cm x 102cm x 3.8cm. It is an original painting on high quality stretched canvas with a sturdy pine frame. Ready to hang. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Jane’s painting “Killer on the Road” is inspired by the pulp detective magazines that were popular from 1930s to the 1950s – she has appropriated a cover from the 1930s and juxtaposed an image of a crazed man driving erratically through a wheat field. She has incorporated the words on the magazine cover “Every Story True”.

I am Jane Ianniello, a well-known Brisbane artist and I have been finalist for all the major prizes for the past few years – Lethbridge 10,000, Rotary Art Spectacular, Moreton Bay Art Awards, Noosa Art Award, Stanthorpe Art Prize. I have also exhibited at various Brisbane and Gold Coast galleries.I will courier in sturdy cardboard box. Ready to hang with d-rings and picture wire.
