Knee Deep by Sue Hill.   This acrylic painting was inspired by a beautiful setting of Tiona, on the mid-north coast of NSW on a crisp winter morning following the wake to celebrate the life of a close family member.    The children – cousins, who hadn’t seen each other in a few months and who attended the ceremony had a wonderful time afterwards playing together on the sandy shore.   They also rolled-up their trousers/skirts and paddled in the shallow waters of the lake.   They were framed by three magnificent palm trees.  With the clear sky and calm landscape, it could’ve been a scene in Hawaii!!!

Sue has painted this scene in portrait format and has signed the painting on the back.  It is wired and ready to hang.   The sides are painted black.
