Additional Information

The Kumari of Patan (Nihira Bajracharya) was so small. A similar age to my four year old son. Her feet never touching the floor, her face never changing for fear of negative predictions, no playing, no school. Chosen to be the embodiment of the divine female energy. She is worshiped. I cried for her. What is more difficult is the energy, respect and love toward this girl. If that same energy, respect and love were given to the earth she might live in a better world when she older. Fresh water in the rivers, better infrastructure for her community, clean air to breathe. That’s why we try to be better, to do better, to fight climate change – for the children. If we do not make a change now, it will be too late.
