Sunshine on a stem. When a flowerblooms we are reminded of nature’s awe-inspiring beauty. It can take your breath away.

Multiple layers of under-colour and markings are initially placed onto the canvas in an unrestrained manner.  The aim is to create depth and mystery to the artwork.  I then add brush loads of pastel colour, balanced by Red Ochre and Raw Umber to provide depth. All this results in an interesting textured painting to create a breathtaking image.

This piece is painted on hand-made stretched linen canvas using acrylic paint and markers. It is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
