This large A2 print is based on a painting by Josslyn, executed in an Impressionist style and rich with colour. The work captures the lush atmosphere of Carrick Hill, the English manor house in the foot hills of Adelaide South Australia. It is renowned for its magnificent Edwardian formal gardens.

The Garden designed by Ursula Hayward, Carrick Hill was conceived as a setting for refined social gatherings and elegant tennis parties. The print reflects this sense of cultivated leisure and beauty, translating the vibrancy of the gardens and their social history into a luminous, painterly composition.

Because this is a fine art print, we have allowed negative space to balance the image; our sizes relate to the paper size.
