Lakeside by Kathy Best – Inspired by a photo taken at Spirit Island, Maligne Lake, Jasper National Park, Canada. Although it was Summer, we waited for the fog to lift before venturing out on a boat cruise on this lake. Much to our delight the fog lifted, the water was glass calm and clumps of snow remained on the mountains . The use of red lines against the mostly blue scene has provided for some very interesting shapes in the landscape.
