Australian flora always inspired my art as it is everywhere around me. The Lemon Bottlebrush, a popular ornamental shrub is often used for screening your garden. Sometimes its flowers are covering the entire shrub from spring through to summer.

‘Lemon Yellow Bottle Brush‘ is mixed media of acrylic and watercolour on a 16.5cm round composite disc. It has been protected with three layers of gloss varnish to bring out the bright colours. It can be displayed free standing and has a hanging wire across the back. A small display easel is also provided for displaying it on a shelf.
