I have started to document my surroundings. Small personal details about the things that I have chosen to surround myself with. At the moment we are into our fourth lockdown in Melbourne. I’m not complaining, it is a productive time for me, but it does make my my world smaller. Together here is my brocade Moroccan table runner, a new plate that I bought after the last lockdown and some beautiful lemons provided from a box of freebies at the front of a neighbour’s house. These elements say so much about where we have been, where we are going and what the future holds. The world and the community hold us together. We are not alone, we are a part of bigger things.
