I observed and photographed this beautiful young leopardess on several occasions whilst camping in the Savuti region of the Okavango Delta in Botswana.

She wasn’t comfortable with the safari vehicle or humans, so when she decided to move on, we gave her space and let her quietly dissapear into the bushveld.

I love this image, with her focusing on the surrounding terrain as she disembarks from the tree, it captures her amazing whiskers against the dark background of the trees bark.
