My inspiration is influential women in history that changed the world.

Marie Antoinette, the last Queen of France before the French Revolution, is remembered for several notable quotes, though some are attributed to her based on legend rather than historical fact.  While she is famously associated with the phrase “Let them eat cake,” this quote is widely believed to be apocryphal.

Every detail in this artwork has been specifically chosen to represent her vanity, opulance and wealth.  There are so many details in this painting every time you look at her you will find something new –  some obvious and some cryptic.
