Influence:

Life isn’t a journey travelling on a straight pathway. Just like our roads we travel everyday, our path to life share the same twists and turns, dead ends and ups and downs. Some days, we are falling in to pot holes, copping bumps in the road. Other days, everything goes perfect and you get through the day surprisingly unscathed.

Using a minimalistic colour palette, I wanted to design a piece which looks simple at first glance but when looking closely notice an abundance of texture and fine lines running throughout.

Specifications:
Quality acrylics, graphite, charcoal and moulding paste used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
