Life’s Not Black & White by Rosemary Legat – A play on using black and white, as sepia also used.

Layers of acrylic paint, acrylic ink pen, markings, scratchings, blind sketching and collage pieces (created from torn pages from an old novel) used to create this unique tonal and textured abstract.

My white ink markings provide pops of interesting detail, drawing the eyes in to see what the painting may reveal.

Can you find the two abstract figures?

Some markings have been wrapped around the edges of the stretched canvas which have been paid in sepia.
