Light Dance is inspired by the reef coves and tidal pools along the Great Barrier Reef — places Bruce visits often, where each visit reveals a new play of colour and light. As the sun begins to set, the water becomes alive with reflections — fiery golds, deep crimsons, and vibrant blues shifting and merging in a continuous dance of light.

This painting captures that fleeting moment when the day’s last light transforms the sea into liquid colour — where sunlight glows across the surface and ripples of warmth and shadow weave together like music on water.
