Birds are my symbolic language for higher spiritual meaning. Artworks are one of eight categories in the Feng Shui toolbox, used to attract positive energy and intentions.

Red, purple and pink represent the fire element in Feng Shui. The fire element is related to the yang energy of the Sun. It is masculine energy that is motivated and driven. We are fully dependent on fire for it’s life-giving energy. All beings, including plant life, need the sun to activate their life force; to grow and thrive. However, we never want too much fire because we know if it has a big effect, fire can be destructive. So in Feng Shui the fire element should be subtle to ignite our passions. This painting is deliberate in bringing a subtle intention of the fire element to your home and life to ignite your dreams. The red-tailed black cockatoo is a beautiful, graceful bird that carries a small flicker of fire in it’s tail feathers. These birds are also believed to be the guides and guardians of the spirits of loved ones.
