Little Burleigh Headland by Anne Strambi – On a recent stay at the Gold Coast I found this lovely view behind the South Burleigh Lookout, and was attracted to the rock shapes and the moody skies on the day I was there. I have since found out that this headland is also called South Nobby Headland, and either Little Burleigh or North Burleigh! Anyway I love finding the lesser frequented places on the Gold Coast and painting them! I used a palette knife to get lots of texture in the foliage and rock. Note, this painting has sides painted and is ready to hang.
