This little oil painting was inspired by one of my favourite beaches Convent Beach, with the afternoon shadows over the sand and low tide revealing the rocks on the shore. The shapes of the rocks make interesting patterns in the sand and the white clouds reflect in the shallow water. It is painted very loosely with both brush and palette knife.
The painting is framed and ready to hang in a white frame.
The frame measures 29 cm x 24 cm.
