Little Ray of Sunshine by Treena Seymour

Influence:

As the sun was shining , I spent an entire day in mums garden watching bees buzzing collecting pollen for their hive. I gazed across the garden looking at the many annuals in full bloom, and the magnificent array of roses. One rose which stood out this particular day was a  David Austin Rose “Claire”. It just looked like a beautiful ray of sunshine with its golden yellow velvet petals emanating  a divine sweet scent. I stared at this rose for what seemed ages, thinking who, in fact, doesn’t like the colour yellow?

It makes us feel happy, optimistic and joyful. It is also believed to stimulate mental activity and aid in problem-solving.

Due to its brightness, it represents vitality, warmth, and spontaneity. It also  represents the Solar Plexus chakra (Manipura), which governs personal power, confidence, and self-esteem while in the practice of Buddhism, it, specifically saffron, symbolises humility, renunciation, and detachment from materialist society.

Specifications:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping.
