Living Under The Sky by Lucinda Leveille is a large piece and falls under the series of exploring the solitary.

I love to paint trees and clouds – doesn’t matter what colour or type of tree although the bare branches are my favourites. The simplicity of the image contradicts the fine details of the branches and the complimentary palette – leaves me contemplating how opposites work so well together.

The inspiration for this piece comes from the quote by Konrad Adenauer – “We all live under the same sky, but we don’t all have the same horizon”.
