From the series – In search of connection. I love creating wonky lines with sticks dipped in ink, I love the tension between a strong value contrast and complimentary colours, in this case the orange and blue. All this adds to the emotional depth of the artwork.

Created through countless layers of adding and subtracting, glazing and playful mark making, these pieces have a lots of textures and details which are only seen up close.
ORIENTATION – can be chosen upon purchase. I purposefully sign the artwork on the back as the orientation is often a personal choice, although I usually have a favourite way of hanging and if not specified, will wire it that way.

This artwork is unframed but the side are neatly finished in white as to not detract from the art. Varnished for protection and ready to hang.
