“Looking for Light” – By Sharon Rynehart

An expressive palette knife sea/landscape inspired by the search for light in our darker days. The thing about darkness is, it doesn’t exist when even the slightest glimmer of light invades it’s depths. Where the light comes in it illuminates things once hidden and hard to see; the dull becomes bright, the shadows fall away, and all that is seemingly lost in the darkness, comes back to life…bringing restoration and new hope.

Light is what I choose to look for when things of the day become overwhelming and heavy. Looking to the sky above, the brilliant light that dances through passing clouds and heralds the start and end of a new day in such colourful array, is a reminder that hope always exists. We just have to look for the light.

Created on artist quality cotton canvas, and framed in a solid oak or white timber frame (message me if you’d prefer the white otherwise oak will be the standard). This artwork is satin varnished, and comes with a COA.
