Layers of coloured squares painted onto the canvas. Lots of squares applied, one on top of the other.

On a visit to my aunt at Macedon Vic, she had the most beautiful blooming Dogwood Tree. Took a photo and this is my interpretation. Smaller squares outline in white acrylic. A bit of abstract impressionism. Waiting for each colour to dry before the next one added. Takes time but I always love the result. Lots of individual squares. Love the look.

This artwork comes with a natural pine floating frame.

Acrylic on canvas and Posca acrylic pens used to create the definition lines

  • Sealed with protective semi gloss varnish
  • Wired on the back ready to hang.
  • Signed on the back and signed somewhere on the front, small and discrete within the  painting
