Lost at sea by Lidia Gauzesdiano

This painting was inspired by the time I recently spent on my own at the seaside town of Inverloch. Glorious autumn weather provided stunning sunsets rich in reds, oranges and yellows that are featured in “Lost at sea”. The solitude that I experienced, although blissful, was at times quite challenging but once I overcame the stigma associated with loneliness, I began to enjoy my own company and the peacefulness it brought. Being alone is definitely not the same as loneliness.
