Love Birds is a commissioned work, created for a vivacious and adventurous couple. The artwork was a surprise gift from one to the other. The request was to be colourful, with a hint of sparkle – as the collector was drawn to my previous works Celestial Garden and Vive La Difference. The piece expresses the love they have for each other as well as their joie de vivre. It was an honour to create Love Birds for them. Painted with acrylic paints with a hint of copper metallic acrylic.
