‘This painting is quite a unique one for me and a style I’m looking forward to continuing. My aim was to convey deep emotion through the use of expressive brushstrokes, colour, composition and contrast. The directional lines suggest movement and the act of clinging or grasping (which conveys passion). I love the layering of colours highlighted by the red oil pastel line work, and the dream like quality of the image. I hope someone falls in love with ‘Love Me’ as much as I have’ – Stephanie Laine
