I created a body of work on cradled wood panels to be part of my art exhibition at the hairdressers I go to in Preston, Melbourne (Raw Edge & Beauty). Love Yourself was one of these pieces and like the other three figurative artworks I created at the time was inspired by a zoom life drawing session I previously participated in.

I used the same model’s pose as inspiration for the four individual dynamic figurative artworks included in my display. Each of the four figurative pieces are similar to each other but each has its own personality. Each piece is unique and beautiful in its own way.

Love Yourself is a captivating mix of abstract patterns, shapes and bold colours intertwined with the female form and phrase Love Yourself creating an expressive artwork radiating positive energy and warmth.
