Low Hanging Fruit Salad: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Abstract Graffiti painting created on canvas.

This artwork continues my experimentation using spray paint, brush work and liquid acrylics to explore memories and the edges of perception.

Making abstract art, I use many different techniques to apply the paint sponges, rags, scrapers, paint pens, stencils, pencils, and fingers.

The work is an abstract statement piece and will give maximum impact to any room & the surface is very textured, from built up layers of vintage wallpaper and paint on the canvas.

My art is directly influenced by graffiti in city laneways, vintage billboards and other weathered surfaces & is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The artwork is mixed media paint on canvas which has been painted black around the edges and is ready to hang.
