Magic Hour by Cheryl Harrison – My work in general is inspired by and is a combination of life’s everyday events – a word, a triggered memory or the elements in an undiscovered street that catch my eye, to a wave crashing on a morning walk. I call these my lifescapes.

Magic Hour is an optimistic painting fulled with possibilities. Much like its literal reference suggests, paying homage to that of the light just before sunrise and just after sunset – both marking time to look forward to what the day or evening will bring and to embrace the light and make the most of the moment.

Its glowing palette of cool yellows and and stronger warm ochres blends beautifully with its complementary greens and subtle light and dark blue tones. I hope it fills you up with joy!

It is acrylic on canvas and comes wired ready to hang.
It is initialled on the front CH., with full signature and titled on the back with a Letter of Authenticity.
