Making feathers fly by Karen Chappelow

Another piece in my exploration of Idioms this one refers to causing a commotion or disturbance. With my love of Greek Mythology and the stories we tell the swan as depicted could be Zeus on his way to commit evil with poor unsuspecting Leda. The feather is a symbol of trust, honour, strength, wisdom, power and freedom

Zeus in the story of Leda and the swan really did make feathers fly but I like to reimagine that Leda got to him first and made some of his feathers fly.
