Concentrating on the gesture of my model’s pose I applied paint, concentrating on negative space, to create the essence of Kieren’s pose over my unique, layered intuitive base, rather than painting or drawing the contours of Kieran’s body.

My chosen gestural painting style creates a undefined, incomplete look which a slightly mysterious vibe.

Signed on the front.

This creative and textured piece  has been finished off with a touch of spray varnish for protection.

As Male Repose Purple requires framing to hang my artwork gallery includes examples of how he could look framed in a classic black frame with white matting.
