Mediterranea by artist Stephanie Laine is a new abstract painting from her Fresca series.
One of my favourite memories of Italy was swimming in the ocean off the Amalfi coast and looking up at the cliffs lined with crops. Clear cool water and a vibrant energy of celebration surrounded me. I felt a deep passion for life and a grounded sense of appreciation. I’ll always remember this feeling. This painting is an expression of this moment. I hope you can sense it too.
Mediterranea is a combination of blues and greens with a touch of yellow and mustard. The image extends around the 3.8cm sides of the canvas so it’s ready to hang.
